I think he ignored that because it's hard to find something, that was posted a long time before. And I can tell you that many people said something like that. In many cases it was just trolling, but not always. The most of them thought that Until Dawn will flop. But it did not. The arguments were always the same: Xbox has Halo, Forza and Tomb Raider. But what does Sony have? For them nothing. But whats with third party games? Until dawn? Uncharted trilogy? Dragon Quest Heros? Disgea 5 and so on. Maybe not everyones cup of tea of course. But for some it is. It is fact that many Xbox Fans thought that these games will not be as succesful as the Xbox games will be (or in their thoughts not exist).

Ethomaz explicitely accused users on this forum to having acted like that. I mean, if we are now in "tales from my ass"-time on this forum where everyone can say everything he wants without the need to back up what they say (which already happened a lot of times and I told this to many people already but didn't bother) than we indeed have established a very, very low standard in communication and social behaviour (which also already happened quite often here).

That said, playing the victim role as a PS4 owner is beyond ridiculous currently.

That is why users "here" says Sony doesn't have any exclusive for holidays, no?

Obviously you need to level up on your google skills. Hint: It has functions to search on sites.

But either way, I guess you aren't even trying to even remotely prove your point and will say "hey, I know it happenend. If you don't believe me, google it up yourself" which is common now here but not how people should discuss with each other.

So... One of the "best line up ever" games flopped, and a PS3 niche cinematic no-gameplay game sold better, and you're arguing about "can you find an old comment on VGchartz specifically saying that Forza will do better than Until Dawn".... I don't think it's relevant here, even if you just want to beat ethomaz about his comment. 

The real questions are : did Forza sell better in other countries? If not, why? Too many Forza games? Did it really flop? (if ethomaz' numbers are correct, it did...) 

EDIT : I forgot another question : will others "best line up ever" games like TR flop too, or only this one? 

It's not about beating ethomaz, it's calling out people when they try to paint an image of this site which is not appropriate and in no way backed up at all.

That said, judging game quality by sales leads to nothing, in my opinion. No matter whether Forza 6 flopped, the game is good and got great reviews. Of course everyone puts his own wishes, preference and perspective on games, that's why we have competing opinions at all.

Of course, I'm not talking about Forza's quality! I don't know anything about it. I'm just talking about sales (and the game's impact on the console's sales). 

We had a lot of debates here about holiday's line ups and their importance for the sales (more exclusives = more sales = holiday win?). It's interesting to know that one of the main holiday exclusive games did not sell so well, and it would be even more interesting to know why IMO. 

Hmm, at least Super Mario Maker did...who am I kidding, this is the UK!

Anyway, it's nice to see an "experimental" title do well, like Until Dawn. Though, seeing Destiny up in that top 3 despite its expansion pack's value or lack thereof...

The importance of exclusives is, in my opinion, way too much discussed - it boils down to a few exclusives. If you look at the best selling games from last-gen it's obvious which games sold the most. But they are a perfect fit for console wars, apparently.

Huh? But until dawn launched in august. I think that puts until dawn at the disadvantage, not Forza...
