Forums - Nintendo Discussion - If Nintendo goes mobile next gen will you still follow them?

Yes they will care about quality, they couldn't risk further tarnishing their high quality reputation.

It'd be bad, but I'd be interested in seeing what they offer on the mobile front. I don't play phone games now out of lack of interest but if Nintendo was producing, it'd be worth a look. It'd be impossible to replace them in the console space though, so I hope that carries on.

No console no soup

They would have to be really, really, really good.

it wont happen, but if it did, no i wouldnt

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I feel like they would still care about the quality of what they make so yeah I would be willing to give them a shot. Lets just hope it doesn't come to that though.

They would go 3rd party than mobile if something like this ever happened..

I guess I would still follow them, but to a lot smaller degree and may only get games if they are free

Of course, but they can do mobile and NX at the same time.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I hope Kimishima, Takeda and Miyamoto commit seppuku if they go mobile. If the games are free-to-play garbage like everything on mobile is, I won't play them.

nope.

Before Mario maker I would say definite no, not interested in mobile gaming. Yet I never use the TV anymore while playing Mario maker, it might as well be on a handheld.

Emm I guess you mean mobile phones.... That's another huge step down :/ No.
