Noah's doing a decent job. It'll take a while to get into a good rhythm, but it's at least decent right now.

It's not that bad in my opinion and I think it will get better over time.

That Nightly Show is terrible, though.

My favourite political comedy show at the moment is Real Time with Bill Maher.

To be honest, I wasn't really a fan of the direction Stewart started taking the show in, near the end of his reign. So, I actually stopped paying attention to it months before Noah took over. Still watching John Oliver though, that show's great.

Larry Wilmore is god damn awful though.


The issue is that Stewart had a MUCH higher IQ and a superior intellect. This new kid isn't bright or concise enough to carry the show imo.

Calling it "decent" is actually being generous.
imo its borderline unwatchable... its below decent.

Curious to see what viewer numbers look like in a years time.

The show is good. There ain't much going on right now for satirical strips. Republicans are on the rest mode now.
Trevor is a very smart guy and funny. I'm sure the show will improve with time.

There's a reason they chose Noah. If he does well they're geniuses; if he fails nobody can live up to Stewart and the next guy is compared to a failure instead of somebody who changed pop culture. And it's true, nobody CAN live up to Stewart, so stop comparing. Stewart was trash at first, for a good year or so and the show still struggled for a few years after that. Honestly, if it weren't for 9/11 I don't know if Stewart would've made it too far past that year. Not that I'm advocating 9/11, just stating historical impact here.

If Noah is still this bad after six months, then your complaints might hold some weight.

A lot of young Daily Show viewers forget that John Stewart wasn't liked initially when he was on the show. It took two years for him to get in to a rhythm and eventually be loved. It's going to take Trevor Noah a while to get comfortable, be patient.

Now the nightly show is bad to me but then again there's really NOTHING to talk about because republicans haven't really done anything insane yet.
