I reckon it's SOny themselves that have decided to do that. They're probably confident that the Star Wars bundle will do very well anyway. Perhaps it will get a price drop nearer the release.


Good point. Perhaps a black Friday price promotion is coming for that bundle where an extra $30 or more will be knocked off and a year of plus tthrown in.

Sony just waited for MS to announce their bundle and pricing to go there and make their price cit in a way that will make ms seem really week if they cut the price of the bundles so close to announcing them (with ridículous price as well). Master stroke.

Maybe it's a good thing Uncharted 4 got delayed then. Otherwise there might actually have been PS4 shortages this holiday. :-p

Yes, I think there's something in that. This could also mean that MS will have all those bundles stuffing the chain for much longer because people will now buy the PS4 over the XB1.

The long term success of PS4 doesn't rest on Uncharted 4 like Halo 5 does for Xbox One.

I think you are right too. Or maybe just maybe, MS priced their bundle that high to that Sony don't kill them with a $100 price cut. lol
