Umm wut? Fallout 4 won't come close to CoD on next gen.

Actually, it could.  Bethesda's last open world RPG, Skyrim, sold over 20mil total, which is right around the same figures as CoD: AW.  The question is simply whether Fallout will experience the same climb in popularity from 3 to 4 as The Elder Scrolls did from IV to V.

Yeah, I don't see it happening...

Skyrim sold that figure in 4 years, AW did it in 1.

Well that's a matter of standards of measurement.  Holiday will likely go CoD's way as well as the first calendar year, but lifetime could be close and go either way.  CoD's annualization means it has the legs of a quadriplegic with polio by the end of the following year.

There a few thing that will work against Fallout 4:
*Multi platform owner (PS4 & Xbox One) will probably get the game on PS4.
*Big holiday marketing to push for Rise of the Tomb Raider might sway customers to get Tomb Raider, especially uninformed buyers.
*Limited appeal of Action-RPG vs Action-adventure. Which game will have more appeal to the mass market.
*Time exclusivity of Rise of The Tomb Raider will spark interest from Xbox One gamer.

2015's inevitable GotY winner vs anything else isn't gonna turn out well.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Fallout 4 , by atleast two-three times what Tomb Raider does.

1. Maybe(?)

2. Not sure about that myself we can't count on gamers being misinformed these.

3. With the amount of Positive buzz Fallout 4 has gotten, I think Action-RPG has gotten more popular.

4. Not every Xbox gamer is the same.

4.

*lil wayne voice* Young Fallout baby!!

Is this a joke question? Or do you really not know the answer?
