Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Which will sell more in first week Fall Out 4 or Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One?

Which will sell more on Xbox One in it's first week?

Fallout 4 198 88.00%

Rise of the Tomb Raider 27 12.00%

Total:225

I think we're overrating Tomb Raider now.

Fallout 4 and would venture by considerable amount.

I dont think this is going to be interesting at all. Fallout 4 will win the first week by a large margin and all the following weeks. Its not going to be close at any
point.

Its gonna be the highest selling game this holiday season. Will probably rival CoD on next gen systems.

Umm wut? Fallout 4 won't come close to CoD on next gen.

Hmmmmmm though call, but i think Tomb Raider is going to win this one.Mostly because its 1 year exclusivity, and will be marketed the hell out of it, while Fallout 4 sales will probably center more on ps4 and pc.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

NO NO NO!!!

You are doing it wrong!

To make a more "interesting" thread, you must compare one exclusive to another (Dood Raider vrs Tomb Raider anyone). This is the way it is, it's the way it will always be.

Just because TR is marketed by MS doesn't mean that it suddenly has more fans on X1 than Fallout does. The vast majority of Fallout fans sits in the US and there X1 is most popular. While TR is more popular in Europe and on Playstation and I doubt either Europeans or PS owners will suddenly buy an X1 for it.

This really isn't even a contest.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Very likely FO4, has a broader appeal, and a larger following WW.

BTW I think Fallout 4. If MS didn't have marketing rights for FO4 then it could of been more even. But since they are both on a level playing field, it has to be FO4.

Actually, it could.  Bethesda's last open world RPG, Skyrim, sold over 20mil total, which is right around the same figures as CoD: AW.  The question is simply whether Fallout will experience the same climb in popularity from 3 to 4 as The Elder Scrolls did from IV to V.
