I started a channel to do let's plays. Hopefully you can give me some advice and whatnot.
I wouldn't watch episode 1 because I was having mic volume problems, but anything else would be good. Episode 2 is watchable I think haha.

My biggest advice, don't talk during the cutscenes. If I'm watching a Let's Play, it's typically a game I can't get due to localization, ect. I also typically watch a few to get a feel for games I'm considering getting, but want to know if the story interests me.

Giving some trivia about the game itself or food for thought while talking is a nice way to keep the interest to both the game and what you're actually saying.

It's always nice imo to have a little webcam video feed, just makes your channel visually different to every other channel unless you have a twin that also does lets plays.

Try to go for Daily uploads as your current pace would be very difficult to keep up and a daily pace is already quite a lot of work! xD

Also a general tip is to try and let's play newer games (or games just have just come out on GwG or PS+) Even if it's on PC as newer games and these games will hold a lot of traffic and give you more opportunity to get more traffic and viewers and more feedback on how to improve videos :)

Don't do the videos yourself. Pay a hot chick to do them for you.

Then have a back-up hot chick to do the videos for when the first hot chick realizes how popular she is and leaves your channel to do her own stuff.

Repeat until the end of times.

Thanks, I'm still getting used to the comfort level of being recorded. First one was definitely weird and I'm getting used to feeling silly when I play which I think is important.

I do have a camera and a capture box, but I'm kinda nervous to be on cam. I'm not someone who likes a ton of attention but I agree a cam would be better.

Yeah, daily is pretty difficult. I try to do like three or four runs and then convert them, and then upload 2 one day and 2 the next.

Yeah, so I started playing this one because there's a big expansion coming out soon and I know there will be a lot of traffic for it. So, I'm using this time to get in some practice with how the game fundamentally works. But yeah I'm going to try some newer games once I get my confidence under control and my comfort level is there. Maybe I should set up that cam and start getting experience with it right away.

I also have a slight problem which is that I got the capture card for the ps4, but after trying to set up my camera, I realized that it doesn't do streaming well, so I actually need the capture card for the camera.

Does anyone know if I can capture video from the ps4 to youtube without publishing it? Or should I get a second capture card? Or should I sell the camera and get a different one?
