Less so. It would be like dumping Kingdom Hearts into a Final Fantasy thread. Their right. This game is its own IP closely related to both SMT and FE, and should be treated as such.

Well, they really shouldn't have had Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem right in their original title if they didn't want people associating it with them.

Then again, this is Atlus we're talking about. The same company that has continued to make SMT games for decades, despite the fact that none of them have sold over a million (including all of the spinoffs), and most sell under 500k. And then there's the EO series, which is in worse shape. They're practically Niche: The Company, so I guess I shouldn't be worried as Nintendo and them likely have reasonable expectations.

I don't think so. Persona's original title was Revalations: Persona, and that didn't stick. I think Performa's a much more marketable name than something as nonsensical sounding as Illusory Revalations.

Then again, Shin Megami Tensei. And Bravely Default. And Kingdom Hearts.

...We'll see.

That was because Shin Megami Tensei used to be localized as Revelations. Just like how Last Bible was Revelations: The Demon Slayer. The Revelations was nowhere to be seen in the original title.

I don't think she has a mirage, mostly considering she's a vocaloid and she's also a Fire Emblem character, so for her to have a mirage that's also a Fire Emblem character would basically go against the plot.

What if Tiki *is* a Mirage of sorts?  And her use/appearance in the music program is a sort of way to mass-scout for strong Performa (creativity is a part of Performa) and simultaneously is her cover, more or less?  I mean, we've basically established that this entertainment company is essentially a cross between an entertainment conglomerate and the Justice League, providing both a fortress/meeting place ad secret identities.  So I could see it.

But they do want people associating it with them. Just like Kindgom Hearts is associated with Final Fantasy and Disney.

Those trailers have me hyped once again (even though they didn't have much substance to them). Damn!

Really like the music in this game so I really hope they don't get covered, or at least, allow Japanese VA and music in the Western release...

Beautiful looking thread Skull! I wonder what the NA name will be (surely not what it's called in Japan). Probably more hyped for this than Persona 5 for me as well. Day one buy for sure.
