Will the 3DS sell better in 2016 than in 2015?

Yes, good known lineup an... 37 32.17%

No, the 3DS peaked a long time ago. 69 60.00%

Namco, bring Digimon 3DS ... 9 7.83%

Total:115

With the 3DS reaching its fifth year on the market, we are suddenly in a curious situation. A lot of people thinks the 3DS sales are inexorably slowing down, due to bot a new system on the horizon and the handheld market being swalowed by mobiles. Yet, we're seeing a very impressive lineup for the next year (at least, in my opinion, to this year's releases). Could the 3DS sell more next year than this one?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

With a (small) pricedrop and a new exciting pokémon game, yes.

The 2015 lineup wasn't the greatest, but the 3DS is really slowing down so I don't think it can

I'm gonna say no.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Pokémon Z, all aboard the hype Train

on the other hand, Metroid Prime: Federation Force D:

FE Fates, Shin Megami Tensei IV-2, Hyrule Warriors 3DS, a bunch of titles that are in NA but didn't release in Europe yet...

I think so. The lineup in Japan is especially impressive with SMTIVF, Yokai Watch 3, Monster Hunter Stories, Pokemon Z and potentially Dragon Quest XI. And then of course in the west we're getting Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, Fire Emblem Fates, Bravely Second, Project X Zone 2, Final Fantasy Explorers, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Zero Escape 3 among others.

Overall, the lineup across the board is a lot more solid than this year. Plus I'm pretty sure they'll drop the price, which should boost sales also.

We really need a Digimon 3DS game in the West though

Looks pretty good. Yes, it can sell better than this year, but only if combined with a price drop.
