That... is a legitimately massive downgrade.

It's been so long since I played the game that I don't even remember what the original soundtrack sounded like, so I would have been fine with it being changed.

But wow.

The new music doesn't fit at all. Hopefully some of the other tracks sound a bit better.

Seriously, the new soundtrack is neither of the same caliber as the original nor as suitable for Super Meat Boy. You shouldn't chalk this up to nostalgia because the new OST is objectively inferior from what I've heard (and I love banjos).

I had no idea that they didn't have the rights to use Danny's music for this port but wow this is pretty awful, doesn't fit the game at all.

I wonder if it can top Rayman Origins gloriously bad soundtrack for me. I'll probably start this later today.

Yeah I know that some like it which is why I put (for me). I absolutely hated it though as it was the first game ever I muted the TV while I played. SMB may be #2 within a span of 2 weeks! My expectations for good music are pretty high.
