More meaning the growing number of new purchasers, he didn't mean sporting the MOST gamers in the current market. No need to bring out the pitchforks.

Well, he was hardly going to say; "We're getting hammered by Playstation and I'm getting the sack at the end of the year. MS are buying Havok and AMD to make money from Sony's success while risking nothing."

Pretty much assumed this based on his previous interviews, and pretty much assumed OP wanted to make it click-baity based on the information brought by OP him/herself in the first place

So I wanted to make it 'click-baity'? Here's the acual headline from the article and what you'll see is all I've done is shorten it, as I do with most articles:

Xbox One boss on PS4 sales: We have more gamers playing games on our platform

 

Xbox one boss = Phil Spencer. I actually removed 'on PS4 sales' but I can add it back in if you wish. 'We have' is pointless and adds nothing but length to the headline. I just shortened it to More gamers play games on our platform. I've changed nothing at all.

That doesn't mean anything either way. Except if it's point is that people are letting their Xbone take dust, but I guess everyone knows that already.

But he does say they sell more XboxOne than 360. Isn't that weird or even straight wrong ?!

Launches aligned, I think the XBO is still ahead of the 360, mainly due to a better launch and the huge spike in sales due to the $349 price last holiday season.  But, considering they are doing much worse in EU and the ROW compared to the 360, it won't bee too much longer before the 360 overtakes it.  Which is why I'm not sure why they continue to say this, as it will end one day, and people will be able to use it against them.  I suppose they have to use something, though.
