I don't get the hate over PS+, at least on the PS4 side. New (or, at least new to PS) indies are so much better than old AAA you can get used cheap. You'd think Killzone SF was a rare title with a 95+ meta score the way people are begging for it. Meh.

See, I kiiiind of get it.

Some people really hate indies. It's not about money, it's just that they see them as games they'd never bother with. I wasn't like that but after playing a couple of indies on a big screen, I found myself thinking, "is that what I got a ps4 for"? Why not just boot up my ps3 in which these games will look indentical? And even for ps3 games they look pretty bad. And it's not just graphics. Indie games have limited resources. The music is usually not that great, the voice acting limited to non-existent, etc. Having an awesome set (TV and speakers) and playing an 8-bit game just doesn't feel right. It really feels like a waste.

That's why I tend to play indies on my vita.
(then again, that's just me. Not saying that everyone feels or should feel that way)

at OP tho I would say to be aware of the fact that if someone is sounding very critical of xblgold and have a psn themed sig or visa versa then keep in mind theyre likely to not be active subscribers of the service just people trying to be loud and sound as tho the subbers aint pleased. if people are subbed and not happy with the offerings theyll vote with wallets as always and right now subs of both services are just on the rise.

psn+ is gonna end up me buying a ps4 too from their igc model, since Im subbed for the past few years for my vitas and ps3 my ps4 library already has 50+ games in it waiting for me to buy the system to play them on, will be the first system I buy and already have a backlog of games on lol

Well, I don't even remember the last time I downloaded a Plus game. Sorry, but most of the games available nowadays are garbage. The ones that aren't, I already have on Steam. Most people just want AAA games, I can't see anything wrong with that. And it's not like they're offering good indie games either, with the mandatory 8-bit platformer every month. One year ago they had Borderlands 2, Uncharted 3, Xcom, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite. Now the best I can get is Super Meat Boy.

When PS+ released on the PS4, I said it would take two to three years before we'd start seeing regular AAA titles appearing. I haven't changed my mind. Sony now have a slight problem, at least for the remaining months of this year. Do they use those titles that aren't really driving much revenue to give bundles added value or do they use them to add AAA titles to PS+? I can guarantee next year we'll see AAA titles on PS+ but I'm not certain yet if we'll see them this year. We WILL eventually see them though.

Lets be honest, the quality of PS+ games dropped at the start of this gen when Sony got a massive lead. There is no incentive for them to put bigger budget games on PS+ currently. The PS3 is not even getting the high caliber games it used to get.

I have no complaints about PS Plus. Games With Gold seems to get worse every month.

I generally download gwg games Indies or no. Just seems like a vocal minority. Or judging by the thumbs down, the vocal majority. Indie titles are... Niche in comparison to AAA titles. Ps+ and gwg have just set the bar too high.

What's funny about your comment from 2 days ago is that when there was a rumour that AC4 Black Fag would be on PS+ I was a little unhappy because I already own the game. So I do prefer Super meat boy.

I also have PS3 and Vita so PS+ has a great value for me because I earn more than 6 games per month since the games are cross-platform. It's a nice addition to the service. I saw that Games with Gold counts the same game twice like what happened to The Walking Dead (on 360 and One). And you know what? People were not surprised with TWD on Live even though it's a GOTY.

Again, I think there is something odd with console gamers...
