Serious question. If the current staff, particularly ioi since most of the updates I believe he is only able to do, does not have enough time why don't they ask for help? 

I'm sure somebody would be able to get on board to help update these numbers. At this point I feel like a serious reboot of the site is in order as well as immediately shutting down all sales tracking (what remians) 

Even with the sparse updates that seem to be monthly or less, they are obsolete due to the high percentage of digital sales. PC sales are and have been completely obsolete for years. But now I feel consoles have caught up close enough to render physical numbers useless. 

Again. Don't take this as an attack on the staff. Obviously they have lives and things to do. But I feel like if you put out a site such as this with a somewhat large following, maybe find/hire people who have more time on their hands to actually run the site. 

Basically vgchartz is 99% a forum site with 1% news articles and reviews sprinkled in. 

Anybody know the reason why they would be unable to get more help I would love to know 😀

Also any other inputs and suggestions would be sweet.

ioi is not a fan of your idea.

If they were able to I'm sure they would have already.. More views = more money for wages. Running an Internet website is no different and than any other bussines in that regard.

Pretty sure we've said the same thing before. Honestly if it was something we could do freely, do you not think it would have been at least tried by now? Unfortunately it is what it is right now and whilst I agree with everything you say there's not an awful lot that can be done without ioi's consent.

Probably not something ioi is considering atm.

my guess is that Brett doesn't want to let someone else completely take over the sales stuff because they could then split off and make their own site doing the same thing VGC does. Instead he prefers to have people help with smaller parts of the whole, which works when he's doing his bit, but not lately.

@ the mods/writers that replied. Cool thanks. I legit did not know how the entire process worked. I assumed it was a team concept where as you guys handled most of the hireing/volunteer things while he had the grand sales data input.
