The DSLR business is booming oddly enough. 

Sony's brand rep carries a lot of negativity these days despite the PS4's success.

My edit was probably not noticeable enough.

This is in terms of market value of the parent company.

Canon is the no.1 camera company in the world too, for what that's worth, whereas Sony isn't the no.1 electronics company in the world. So that probably factors into it.

rarely do ppl mention how nintendo went from 20m GCs  sold to 100m Wiis sold and when they do then theres a stupid reason why the Wii sold 100m and somehow that doesnt even count because reasons..

Brand rankings are shit, period.

Brandirectory has the Xbox brand as being worth more than the Playstation and the Nintendo brand...
