I'd argue the scale of that quality in Splatoon, and I'm not really interested in a quality level editor in SMM, no matter how high it is, so I think I'll be fine. If Splatoon ever patches away its various major issues, I'll gladly buy it. Until then, I've very happy not playing either.

100+ hours of Splatoon so far. Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out Dec. 4th so probably just enough time for it to top Splatoon. Didn't get Mario Maker because the NSMB series pretty much ruined me on the 2D series. So, no, Mario Maker definitely will NOT be my most-played game. :p

Lol mario maker is far too lacking, already getting bored of seeing the same few backdrops again and again. Splatoon I'd imagine currently, but xenoblade could suck me in

It will easily be my most played Wii U game...
Throw 3DS games into the mix and it will probably be Xenoblade...
I'm also replaying Mass Effect, so if we're taking all platforms into consideration that will probably account for a greater number of hours...
And I almost forgot about Pokemon Shuffle...

Gets beaten by Splatoon and Hyrule Warriors by several country miles and then some. Not even sure it will beat Shantae and the Pirate's Curse or Shovel Knight

I think I'll probably play more Xenoblade between the 25th and 31st than Mario Maker I'll have played this year. Mario Maker is great, but it's not a world changer for me. It's just a nice novelty.
