I think most people could have put out that fire.
This guy was a brave one,... tries like 5secounds with a peice of cardboard, gives up and runs away to let it just burn down.

w t f.

not what happened

he left to get water and takes way too long and then finally he grabs a blanket to smother it (should have been the first move and would have ended the fire there), but it seems at that point it was either too late or he didn't try long enough and went away for more water

Sadly also one women living next to him was caught in the fire and passed away :s.

That was on another place apparently. This was just a minor fire, according to reddit.

It's kinda sad to watch the fire getting out of control. This video should be used for education for sure. I'm also glad of all the fire control training I've had in the past which I did not respect back then. I'd say the biggest reason for failure here is that this guy feared the fire, meaning he was inexperienced.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

What made it worse was the amount of time he didn't smell something burning. He's inches away. You'd also feel it. That delay cost him time. Also, he didn't even try to kick the stuff out of the way that slowed him down. If I was in that place. Everything would of been kicked out of the way while I went for water. Another lesson. Always have a fire exstinguisher. $30 would of saved millions in damages. He also wasted 6 seconds to disconnect the stream mic. You're already a dumb ass, as it was. He set himself up for failure.

One: Doesn't know how to use the striker. It's meant to produce a spark only.

Two: Drying off the striker lighter with tissues, that are now damp wiht lighter fluid, then putting them in a garbage bag, for whatever reason is next to you, with no precausion. And rubbing the stuff over the lighter, on top of that.

Three: Using the striker in a down position. Aiming at the floor.

Four: Using a lighter that you don't know, while STREAMING OVER THE INTERNET. Something that makes you even more distracted.

I find it odd that the light had no manual. This is japan. Rice Balls have manuals printed on them.

That really sucks for him. Also the comment section says the woman died in an unrelated fire, not from his

5.29 the burning trash is put down away from his pc ect, hes planning to put it out and knows it ll be messy.

5.37 he puts up 2 retangular cardboard boxes and slaps the burning trash bag.

5.39 you hear him "stomps his foot" on the fire peices, hopeing to put those out.

5.46 the man gives up,  puts down the two retangular cardboard boxes, and runs out of the room.

6.23 he comes back with a small bucket of water.

6.46 hes beating it with a blanket and looks to be winning the battle.

7.20 he gives up useing the blanket to smother it. Lets it lay there and catch fire instead, while he goes to get more water.

ect ect.

The point is it shouldnt have gone that far.

It should been put out much earlier when he ran off to get that small bucket of water, instead he should have used the blanket to smother the flames.

Which most people would have done.

Didn't Minecraft teach him that playing with fire is bad?

I think you are overestimating "most people".
