Forums - Gaming Discussion - You might not know this but... Hideo Kojima made The Phantom Pain

So I just got the game and i'm loving it but holy shit is Kojima full of himself. Dude doesn't pass a single oppotunity to plaster his name over the screen. Anyone else found it annoying?

He's also in the game as an optional recrutable soldier, out of annoyance over the game my roommate deliberately killed him the first time he played that mission. :D

Well, it is his game

Well it had to be somewhere and Konami said not to it being on the box. So I guess TV style credits it is for every mission

Nope, I was never aware of that.

Too bad Konami is trying to make that a secret. :/

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The more you know. lol

I find it funny if you think that Konami removed his name from the game's box.

That's like sort of a revange "you put off my name from the box ? Fine ! I'm gonna stick my name everywhere in the whole game you piece of shit"

You guys are complaining, but you're playing more than a game. You're playing a historical social event in the gaming world.
They took his name off of everything, and he retaliated by plastering himself all over the game.

Yeah, the professional thing to do would be to be a good little boy and follow the rules. I prefer a dramatic exit.

yeah it got really ridiculous in this entry, i never had a problem with him putting his name in his previous games (even if it was at the beggining of the game and the ending credits) but it got really out of hand in this game... i think i saw his name more times in this game than i ever did with all the other games combined plus the times i saw his name on articles on the internet...
