DMC is great, I certainly prefered it over DMC4. A lot of people (no, not all of them) just can't get over the Dante redesign. (Sure he's kind of annoying early on in the game but grows to be more like his old self). I really disliked repeatedly going through areas in 4.

I do admit to muting the soundtrack on the reboot though, I thought it was pretty ****

Besides, why do you think some languages 'aren't allowed'? Could it not just be that no reviewers using that language have bothered to apply? I mean, why would they? I know that for a fact because you can see sometimes famitsu in some reviews. I think they add famitsu later when the western reviewers are allready done.

But if you look at japanese games who arent released in the west normally famitsu and other japanese sites should have the review out first because it released in japan first right, but they dont show up? The conclusion is that they only add famitsu if there allready done which is also rarley by the way, and no other japanese sites i have seen besides famitsu. And you dont see any other languages from none-western sites. Is this coincedence? i highly doubt it

Metacritic are bad cuz no non-English reviews.... except sometimes I see famitsu reviews.

famitsu is bigger than most other sites icluding IGN and gamespot maybe. Their reviwes should be showed as some of the first and all the time. Like i said it is rarley showing up. There are a lot of more japanese review sites who arent included at all like 4gamer.net

My argument is valied. How can the second biggest Videogame market (3rd if you include China) being so misrepresented?

The reviews have spoken again though, and the hate from fans is only due to the changes on the saga, they transformed a stupid character with a stupid storyline that takes itself way too seriously to a stupid character with a stupid storyline that does not take itself seriously at all, and they gave it a WAY better gameplay, but people cares more about the story in a hack and slash game (even when they are usually terrible) for reasons that are completely beyond me.

better gameplay? the view bossfights were meiocore in DMC

^ This is all that should need to be said. DmC was a quality title that got torn apart by everybody crying over the fact that it wasn't the sequel to a game that was 50% recycled content. Critics actually did a great job proving that gaming journalism is perfectly capable of providing objective judgments, as they viewed DmC fairly as its own game versus weighing every aspect against fan bias and nostalgia at every given opportunity.

The story wasn't the strong point of the old DMC series but it wasn't as pitiful as the reboot ... 

The old Dante had much more charm than the reboot being some punk ass ... 

Better gameplay is arguable as the reboot features sub-par controls and bad enemy mechanic designs ...

At the end of the day both stories are pretty bad and Dante is an asshole anyways.

I have to disagree with the subpars controls, they were pretty awesome imo.
