Forums - Gaming Discussion - Pretty much every time you buy a PS4 exclusive game, you're supporting Microsoft.

Intresting that games like uncharted and killzone uses Havok. So if you buy a ps4 exclusive, microsoft gets money.

Havok has been around for ages, even HL2 used it, so its not surprising that Sony games have used Havok. Having said that, Havok is licensed as a one-off fee per title, so MS won't receive any revenue for previous PS games that use Havok, only future games, and there is significantly more middleware physics engines available these days then when Havok was at its peak.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

And every time someone buys an X1 or a game for it they support Sony, since they own part of the Blu-Ray license. These companies don't exist in isolated bubbles. They frequently, both directly and indirectly, make money of each other's success. It's good business.

(On a side note i feel the need to mention that given the nature of this topic, and how quickly such things can spiral into shit throwing on both sides, i'm watching you all :D. Keep it clean).

They're doing it when they're buying Minecraft on PS3, PS4, and Vita too. MS has their fingers in lots of pies. This is no surprise.

Isn't MS licensing Blu-ray from Sony?

Every time an XB1 and its physical games are sold Sony makes money...

Seriously what was the point of this thread dude, all the biggest corporations in the world use at least one product licensed under another big corporation...

Why am I not surprised its Snoopy -__-

Every time you buy a game, God kills a kitten...
