Yeah, lowering the minimum wage of Americans to that of poor African countries is really good for the US. Have you heard the policies that he has promised?

I'm familar with most of his policies and I don't agree with all of 'em but overall, he's the best choice out of the options for the country. Minimum wage was never meant to be the equilevent of "making a living" off from it. It's really a short term arrangement til you can get the job you want or a better job or until you're done with school.  Raising minimum wage is only a short term band aid because prices will inflate right along with it.

Schooling is the most logical long term solution for anyone who wants a higher quality of life and to able to put a silver spoon in their kid's mouth.

Wait you mean raising minimum wage will cause no effect because prices change with it, but lowering minimum wage will cause an effect because prices do not change with it? Is this true? I don't know, I've only taken a couple of economics courses.

Are you sure? I mean, the whole "taking economics" thing, because it seems like you tried to solve a problem and checked the immediate consequences before calling it a solution.

The thing is those people's pay goes into the cost of goods. True, this doesn't affect manufacturing of a lot, since most soul-sucking corporations have given our jobs to malnourished China Inf (they're op) at Foxconn. It does, however, affect the payrate of employees in retail, in marketing, and in shipping. There's also the food industry, which is mostly internalized for fast food. All those burger flippers in high school making $10 an hour would mean that those three dollars multiplied by hundreds of thousands have to come from somewhere. And since the fat F**KS at the top will never budge on even a DIME, this is coming out of you. Everything will become more expensive because the labor is more expensive.

That's basic economics, bruh. Raising the minimum wage over and over is just a precursor to inflation.

I doubt he'll win. He won't beat Hilary for the women's vote or the Hispanic vote, which means Florida and New Mexico are likely in play to stay blue and it's virtually impossible to win after that for the Repubs.

Even among other demographics, the Clinton days were generally seen as good times, so many people will just stick with the Clinton name.

Trump's doing a masterful job of trolling the Republican field though.

The only way Hillary would work is if Bill was back seat driving for her. You know, the same way Bush's daddy did for him.

And that will be part of the appeal, Bill Clinton is still very favorably thought of.

I'm just stating from a political POV, if Hillary is going rout Trump with the female vote and the Hispanic vote, she's likely to run away with it in the long run IMO. She will get enough votes from other demographics because Bill Clinton is still well thought of in those other demos too.

Actually, minimum wage was created by the eugenics movement to keep "undesirables" (black people and other minorities) out of the workforce.

The fact that intentions may have changed doesn't change the outcome.

Isn't Trump a homophobic, xenophobic arsehole?! People seriously think he'd make a good leader of the US? Soo glad I don't live there then...

Actually, I think Biden has a stronger shot at the Dem nomination than either Clinton or Sanders. Not that I'd mind, out of the Dem candidates, I think Biden might the one I'd like the most.

He's an idiot, idk how he's getting any support.

Because idiots will vote for idiots? Just ask George W. Bush.............twice.

Bernie Sanders or gtfo!

This is how Hitler got elected. People saw a propaganda spouting bumbleing idiot, no one took too seriously. He got some votes from genuine supporters and some from people voting for him ironically or to make a statement against the established partys. It was enough to get a minor party into a position where they had the power to tip the scales one way or another. Everyone underestimated him, even other leading politicians at the time.

Bottom line is, no matter how screwed up your political system is, don't treat your vote as a joke.

i was for trump from the start
