Please stop derailing the thread. the-pi-guy is right on the money. Report the posts and move on.

The mod team will review all reports and repond appropriately. Thank you.

And to everyone else: please keep this conversation civil. If you have a controversial point of view explain it. And avoid incendiary words like "moron" and "idiot."

Yes. I'm the one derailing the thread. Have you seen the posts in this thread? My goodness. And I'm the one that gets the warning. I'll just stop posting, because there is clearly something I'm missing here.

You're violating several forum rules right now. This warning is a courtesy.

I don't want to hear any more on the subject in this thread. Feel free to PM me or send a message to the mod team at vgchartzmods@gmail.com.

That's really stretching it. Most of that is just really blunt or at most just mean spirited.  Some of it is not even worth quoting.

The common american regardless of their race probably says far worse every day behind closed doors or out in the open depending on who's around. In cities, it's worse. Hell, reverse racism is practically endorsed these days. World will be damned, if a white guy says something politically incorrect.

Your privilage is showing.

Yes I'm familiar with Bernie Sanders.  He's a life long politician and believe me, he's going to need big money donors if he secures the nomination.  Did you know that the NRA helped him get elected to congress?  Anyway we don't need another socialist in the White House

About Trump's comments, who cares?  We have a racist bigot in the White House RIGHT NOW!  He was a member of a racist church for 16 years and hung around terrorists and radicals in his formative years.  One of his former cabinet members, Van Jones, is an openly racist communist.  Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of defense is married to an accused rapist who was impeached for lying to congress and on top of that she committed perjury and accepted donations to her "non-profit" for political favors.  By the way she's broken the law with regards to classified information and if it was anyone else they'd be in prison right now.  A few off color comments from Trump pales in comparison.

So racism and bigorty is OK because others do it?

Privilage? So we punish people just because their family did well or they are? *Rolls eyes*

Doesn't matter. They address everyone who would vote for Trump. Many people in this thread said they would. You can't say what they sad. You're wrong.

Edit: "Anyone that actually believes Splatoon isn't an original game is, simply put, retarded. I can't believe some of the posts in this thread. Mod edit: user was moderated for this post. -Veknoid_Outcast..."

I was banned for this post even though I said anyone and didn't target anyone in specific. You can't say stuff like that.

Except ohmylanta has a better point: why aren't the opening posts moderated? They're clearly incendiary and you are clearly aware of them. Without a moderation timestamp on them, you admit to one of two things:

1. You're biased for not acting on the moderation, agreeing with and allowing the transgression

Or

2. You're incompetent, not understanding that this is incendiary and therefore deserving of moderation.

It's not about speaking, it's about character.  Trump's character is elistist to the highest degree with no compassion, no empathy and no concern for those that do not share his elitist stance (or race or gender, etc...).  By endorsing Trump's positions you've placed yourself in the same character field.  Further, your posts suggest that you have the character of someone that is uninformed and unconcerned with the institutional racism (not the personal one color hates another color kidn of racism). That is a key tenet to the concept of privilage.

It's not about punishing one becuase their family is successful.  Fantastic for that family and we should all stive for success.  But it's the privilage of race and gender, not wealth, that I'm referring to.  Race and gender afford one a luxury of unincumbered social acceptence and pandering.  Those that acknowledge this privilage understand how it impacts themselves and others positively and negatively.  Those who are ignorant of this privilage often unknowingly exploit it at the detriment of others.  And it generates a set of character traits that foster exclusion of disimiliar race and gender and most fo the time they are wholly unaware of this problem.  Sadly, some welcome it.  Trump is one who welcomes it.

ha ha ha ha ha . Can't believe people actually believe this stuff. Ha ha ha

This is what I was talking about before. You were not just saying that about trump but about anyone that will vote for him or likes him. You basically have no arguement about the topics or issues themselves so you attack other people's character or in other words resort to sly personal attacks.

I have every bit of interest on racism but I don't pander to any side or race because of misguided sympathy or undue guilt. I believe that all forms of racism should be publically denounced and punished but barely anyone is up for it.

Doing something for or against someone just because of their race is true racism. Reverse racism is allowed for some reason and it's unchecked with a lot of minorities. There's so much hypocrisy surrounding racism that it's sickening.  . I have no sympathy for any race about racism when they're hypocrites about it. I'm tired of the bullshit.

Privilage as you say it is false. It's a ploy to discredit the majority, to guilt trip people into agreeing with anything and to create a "us versus them" mentality.

If you want to talk about political issues or about a particular bit of trump's political beliefs, I'm fine with it but I'm done discussing hyperbole like white privilage.

You do realize these comments validate everything I just said, don't you?  You're not even aware of it.

And you're still not understanding the difference between the subtle institutional racism and the overt one race hates another race racism (where you keep referring to reverse racism).

Let's take one of Trump's comments, shall we?
“Laziness is a trait in the blacks. ... Black guys counting my money! I hate it.”

Now let's imagine a black man running for president said it but replace the race.
“Laziness is a trait in the whites. ... White guys counting my money! I hate it.”

Absolute and total vilification from the media and society in general.  But a billionaire white guy?  You just shrugged it off like it was no big deal and still want to vote for the guy.  How many people would vote for the black guy if he said that?

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and Bernie Sanders. Donald Trumps tax plan alone would cost something like 10 trillion dollars and bankrupt america. He is big on words and low on performance, like all the businesses he Bankrupted.

The racist, sexist, authoritarian nonsense that is neo-progressivism is terrifying and so many are buying into it.

Trump is still a buffoon though who will definitely fail to deliver on his promises just like the last fellow :(
