Tagging! Definitely a must win month for Microsoft.

Disgaea 5 in the top 100, yay.

It's weird how October went from this sure fire thing for Xbox One to an undercurrent of "uh oh". I still expect them to pull it off though. Just because.

Tagging. XBO favourite for me with Halo and having solid pre-order rankings in the previous months(I think, can't remember)

Xbox does get Mods first, if I'm not mistaken

Don't even get me started on the cluster **** that's going to be.  As a user of mods for something like seven or eight years and a member of a mod developer for some four of those years, I can almost guarantee the modding scene on Xbox will either be astoundingly limited to only the most simple of plug and play stand alone bits and bobs OR will be a total train wreck with inadequate tools, filters, etc.  Because, to my knowledge, they aren't working with Nexus or any of the other major mod communities and sites who know what the crap they're doing.  And so I fully expect tools to be inadequate, mod theft to be rampant, mod sorting to be a pain, broken installs to be a constat problem, mods being available but not the resource mods they are dependant on, and goodness knows what else.  Mods aren't super simple little bits and bobs like retextures and empty player houses anymore.  You have DLC sized quests complete with voice acting, total conversions, combat overhauls, total redesigns for major cities or locations, and massive new land mods.  Look at Falskaar (already out), Enderal Shards of Order (coming soon, in testing phase), and Wyrmstooth for example.  They're huge.  And installing mods of that size may require prerequisites and specific loading orders etc.  And they may require something like Skyrim Script Extender, which is another complication.  And lastly let's not pretend MS or Bethesda are going to invest in advertising mods.  One, there's nothing to show and won't be until some six months or longer after release, even longer if you want to show off something Falskaar sized.  And two, mods are not something directly monetizable.

So no, mods coming to Xbox first is not going to sell anything and may not even be a worthwhile selling point unless they put in a ton more effort than I expect.

1TB Black XB1, Fallout 4, Fallout 3, $399, available November 10th http://news.xbox.com/2015/10/xbox-one-get-the-ultimate-fallout-experience-coming-exclusively-on-xbox-one-this-november

Full list of Xbox One bundles announced over the last few days:

  1. 1TB Black Xbox One with Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. $399 USD, Microsoft Store & Best Buy exclusive, available November 3rd.
  2. 1TB Black Xbox One with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay and Ori and the Blind Forest. $399 USD, available October 27th.
  3. 500GB Black Xbox One with Lego Movie Videogame. $349 USD, available October 6th.
  4. 500GB White Xbox One with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. $349 USD, Walmart exclusive, available November.
  5. 500GB Black Xbox One with Kinect, Zoo Tycoon, Dance Central Spotlight and Kinect Sports Rivals. $499, available October.
  6. 1TB Black Xbox One with Fallout 4 and Fallout 3. $399 USD, available November 10th.

My opinion: Microsoft is 100% dropping the price, maybe only temporary, this holiday. Last holiday we had saw the Xbox One available with a brand new game and old game for $350, now it's $400, partially because Microsoft is pushing 1TB. $350 500GB bundles > $400 1TB bundles IMO.

The bundle is called the Xbox One Fallout 4 Bundle, and it features a Black Xbox One with a 1TB hard drive, the critically-acclaimed Fallout 4, and a full-game download of Fallout 3. Experience the next generation of open-world gaming from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Fallout 3 and Skyrim. Play and store more games than ever, including Fallout 3 and other Xbox 360 games, with the 1TB hard drive and Xbox One Backward Compatibility. And don’t forget, Fallout 4 players will be able to play PC mods free, first on Xbox One.

Ha!! Called it

Old news

I wasn't talking about the game or the console. I was just saying they could use the mods on xbox first as a selling point, and they did. Nothing to really brag over but I did anyway lol :P

No special edition for Fallout 4, seems a wasted opportunity. Slightly worse than the TR bundle as well, given the age of the secondary game.

Nothing as good as the Ass Creed bundle last year yet.
