Good job
That wealth of PS titles is a good lesson that apparently goes eternally unlearned
If makes it hard for me to pick the bottom places (4 and 5) and end up doing it for silly reasons, for example I wouldn't be surprised if I will enjoy Trails of cold steel more than YoruYoru no nai kuni but because I like Gust a bit more than Falcom I just gotta swing it somewhere or I'd never decide.

I find it hilarious that Halo 5 has 31 points, but is almost assuredly going to outsell, well, everything on the Nintendo lists as well as (at least) Persona 5 and probably Ratchet & Clank.

XCX hype!

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Glad to see some other supporters of SMTxFE on this site. You guys make me proud! :')

XCX has been at the top for quite a while, correct? I wonder if Zelda will hold the fort once it releases.

Poor Dark Souls III. XCX no. 1 really? It should be Zeruda, pls! :P

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Lots of FE fans so that's great to see

Also interesting to see Zelda U rebound after being delayed..

Yeah. It's going to do well. This site has always leaned a little more towards Sony and Nintendo fanwise. I fear to see exactly what happens next month with Halo 5 releasing. I'm assuming Fallout 4 will take the helm unless more info on Gears releases. Then I could see that one jumping up a little.

126 points for Chronicles points to more than a little. Yea, I see Fallout taking the Xbox helm, then Gears unless some Quantum Break info gets revealed.

The 3DS is trucking along pretty nicely for a 4 year old handheld. Man, when they reveal Pokemon Z, I'm looking forward to the chart after that.

Very nice! I like how you used the pie charts. They managed to be both eye-catching and informative.

The first post is strangely nostalgic to me. Back in the early 2011 versions of this feature (I think you are the third person to mantain this since), the original Xenoblade and Skyward Sword were always competing for the top spot.

From the looks of it, PlayStation fans on VGChartz are not very into Q4's offerings. That said, I imagine the PS4 will gain a lot of momentum in early 2016, both IRL and in this feature, as we get Uncharted 4, a Persona release date, and so on. Also, between the hype for Persona 5, Square Enix's distant releases, and Dark Souls 3, I have a good feeling about PS4 owners supporting JRPG's on the platform.

Compared to real life, this feature makes Q4 look fine for Nintendo. Xenoblade Chronicles X is huge of course, but we also have the American release of Yoshi's Woolly World and a fair amount of hype for the fourth Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. That said, there is a surprising lack of hype for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. I liked Sticker Star, but wow did that game kill peoples' hype for Mario RPG's! The absence of Triforce Heroes fans is also surprising, given how Zelda U has over 100 points. Four Swords was fairly popular, and Triforce Heroes was not the 3DS spinoff we saw at E3 we must not name, so I honestly expected a bit more love.

Halo 5 did pretty well considering the smaller Xbox community on VGChartz. Besides that, Fallout 4 is universally anticipated and Rollercoaster Tycoon might actually be great.

Predictions for Next Month: The Xbox landscape will be unrecognizable after Halo 5 is released. The Wii U will also probably get shaken up. Yoshi will be leaving the charts, and Nintendo is likely to either hold a Nintendo Direct or otherwise release new info and/or trailers soon. The last quarter of the year is when Nintendo holds the most directs besides E3-related ones.

  • Q4 2012 had two big directs 30 minutes each in October and December, showing off a lot of 3DS stuff. 3DS games that got solid info included Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, while Wii U games of note included Pikmin 3 and LEGO City Undercover.
  • Q4 2013 had another trio of half hour Directs, including the 30 minute October direct where Super Mario 3D World, which people were previously disappointed about caught the hype train. Kirby Triple Deluxe also got announced and Link Between Worlds was revelaed to be one of the less linear Zelda games in recent years. The December Direct brought the announcements of Hyrule Warriors (name not final) and NES Remix, plus Rosalina for Super Smash Bros.
  • Q4 2014 had the Super Smash Bros for Wii U 50 Fact Extravaganza. This Extravganza introduced 1080p resolution, 8 player Smash, Smash Tour, Special Orders, GameCube controller and 3DS compatibility, and upoming Mewtwo DLC. The main November Direct revealed Majora's Mask 3D and info on Xenoblade Chronicles X, Code Name Steam, and Splatoon. Splatoon in particular got its single player announced and release window.

Love and tolerate.

Surprised to see Zelda so high up still. My hype has definitely waned with no info for over a year, and no release date in sight.

Awesome! Xenoblade Chronicles X (WiiU) all the way!
