Finally, some big news. We've decided to create a new position on the site: ambassador. What's an ambassador, you ask? This is a position given to the most active and productive members on the site, those who spend a lot of time and energy making meaningful posts and threads, and leading by example. Ambassadors will have their own tag, just like mods, admins, and writers. They will be tasked with creating interesting threads, making constructive posts, welcoming new members, retaining current members, answering questions about the site, and, in general, representing VGChartz in the most positive way possible. Note that ambassadors will not have any formal authority to censure or moderate, and will not be paid.

I can think of a lot of awesome contributors to this community who would be perfect for the job. If you're at all interested, please send a paragraph or two about yourself and why you want the position to vgchartzmods@gmail.com. Edit: Applications will close Thursday, October 15.

Will be quite strange to see who has applied and who is accepted as ambassadors, silently rooting for a few voices to get a bit more recognition as level headed quality posters but will just wait and see how the mods dish out the titles to people before silently complaining to myself :D
