I think so, nominations sounds better but I guess the application step allows them to see which users are genuinely interested, making this job a lot easier

Definitely quality over quantity would be best for this role

Yeah that would seem a little bit more of a natural progression but then would also require a bit more work than sifting through a list of names and pointing to a handful of them.

Also generally dislike putting system like tags on their profile pics on here ^^' even if they do see themselves as treaters or doodlers!

Cool update with the mod team tho, I do sort of agree with the private profile for a mod being a strange thing, even tho it is indeed possible to PM such a mod I still find it a touch strange that someone who is working with the community on here would want to stay hidden from said community. Just my own opinion ofc, if it was done because of someone posting junk on your wall then I can totally understand why you'd wanna step away from that.

I don't mean to show off or anything, haha... I just thought it'd be a good way to inform people that my avis are drawn, as well as other things I'm currently up to... TwT

That is true that it would also be hard work if mods were to pick who they believe are worthy of the ambassador title.

Well, I guess I am withdrawing my application

You're going to have a bunch on finicky and moody cat fans as ambassador when you could have had loyal and friendly dog fans!
