When I'll upgrade, I won't stick with a 5400rpm HDD, that's for sure.

You will stick with 5400rpm if you want a 2TB. I have a 1TB 7200rpm & it's not super fast loadups or anything that you can really notice. I ran out of 1TB pretty fast after almost 2 years, so I just upgraded to 2TB and it works great!

Sure, but when the time for me comes, Seagate will have most likely made a 2TB version of their 2.5 SSHD. While it is a 5400rpm drive, the added SSD memory is the differenciator and it speeds things up significantly and the reviews of the 1TB model has been favorable across the board. Considering the price, unless there something better coming out, it's a damn good deal.

Less that $100 for a 2TB HDD is money imo! I paid $75-80 for 500GB & $90 for a 1TB not too long ago.
