Have I missed something about this handheld? Has there been any new exclusives for it, besides XC? I wanted to get one, but now I think they are more concerned with whatever the future platform is. They haven't even showed off any new bundles, or special editions. 

You think it's still worth upgrading if you already have an XL?

I'm actually pretty disppointed with it. I knew there wasn't going to be a slew of exclusives, but I also expected more than like two... 

Thoughts? 

It was a cheap cash grab to make money off of the nub gimmick and the success of XC. I thought there would be more games for it as well. But besides XC and some downloadable eshop shooter, nothing new has come from it as far as I know

i upgraded to a New XL after owning the original model since the day it came out so it was very worth it for me.

the upgrade was simply a stepping stone between generations. the 3DS was nearly 2 years older than the Wii U, and even the Wii U had an early start on 8th gen, so as anyone could guess, it was pretty outdated. The New models introduced 2 additional shoulder buttons and a (sort of) second analog stick so that a more diverse game library could exist as the 3DS line nears its end. even without many exclusives, the new hardware makes games like SSB, Monster Hunter 4, and Majora's Mask 3D all run better and have easier controls. sure, it wasnt a necessary upgrade, but it was a nice touch

the point is to part you from your money.

Like seriously Nintendo's dropped the ball hard in this regard.
