I can show you a video of people "liking" Xbone's reveal bs policies if you like.

*Edit* I also don't see how liking the system because it has good games is "liking it for the sake of it".

Defending, which is different from liking. There are a lot of Wii U fans that like their consoles but don't defend when some of us points its flaws.

What flaws? No golf game? Not a huge fan of golf games so excuse me for not being all that upset.

You are clearly missing the point, again, you are defending for the sake of it. So, simply forget.

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Oh My God - well done you - yes that's a different controller - slicker - smaller yet same screen size I am sure lighter too - and those features not utilised... what a waste!

Switch!!!

Wii Sports Club is exactly the game demoed here.

The WiiU Internet Browser provides the same multitasking and video sharing as demoed.

While the Zelda U demo never amounted to anything, ports of Batman and Assassin's Creed utilized similar functionality - as did Wind Waker HD.

The only difference is in the thickness and the analog sticks.

So yeah, it's pretty much the same.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Sooo many unrealized Demos on that reveal, i forgot about all that.

And instead of elaborating, you are sidestepping and saying forget it again. If I miss a point, clarify. What exactly does it do in the demo that it hasn't done to some extent?

That doesn't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

My point is, that the E3 2011 trailer showed us a Nintendo tablet and what we got was a Nintendo console with a controller including a screen.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo made it clear that the tablet was always gonna be the controller, but regardless, no matter what form it's in, a game system is defined by, you know, it's games, so to answer your title, no it was not, the Wii U announced in 2011 was garbage.

The Wii U was always a console with a tablet-like controller. Notice the trailer said "New Controller".
