Well, competition drives innovation. We wouldn't have a Wii, 3DS, Xbox live or a steam controller if there was just one console manufacture. It's good for the consumer and for the game industry.
EA are some money grubbing asshats. So no, I wouldn't even let my friends buy it.

not another US company who doesnt know jack about consoles and the market. the only company i'd like to see try would be... samsung. in cooperation with... sega.

Competition maybe, cause else this console maker could have a 1000% margin on their products.
We don't need another 3rd party driven console
Awesome idea! I hope Square Enix does the same. And then Ubisoft. And Bethesda.
Can't wait to buy 5 consoles to be able to play games that currently require one console only ^^.
