He's talking about your images, exactly. Xbox One really visible, but you can't even see the name of the game from afar... 

No, he is talking about the boxart on page 1 where its XBO's default scheme.  The name of the game has nothing to do with it as that is not what catches someones eye first. 

Why is the average Joe looking at products he's going to buy from afar?

When you enter a store and you see 2 piles of boxes, one with a flashy orange and written "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" in big letters, and the other black or blue with "Xbox One" written on it, where do you think the average Joe or a mom will go? 

First of all the CoD bundle will be the most visible (orange is more visible than black), and the box art just "scream" bundle, you can see instantly that there is a game in it. The Xbox One bundles are just almost normal boxes with a different color, but you can't see quickly and really easily that there is a game inside, and which game it is. They are good looking, but that's not the point. 

Remember, I'm talking only about uninformed masses here, people not knowing what the difference between Wii and Wii U is for example.

P.D. Out of those bundles, the only one charted on the Amazon Top 100 is the Forza 6 bundle, at #100.

Well I'm sure even the uninformed masses take some time to inspect products and consider alternatives before spending hundreds of dollars 😊 and Xbox has plenty of box art to catch the eye. And if we go any further, there's always those who'll go "I don't want anything fancy, just the basic console".

I know, I know, don't worry ^^. But if the most visible bundle push just a few percent of buyers to check it first, it can make a difference, even if it's just one percent of buyers (on hundred thousands). I don't think this point will determine the Holiday winner at all! 

That it's one awesome bundle, imagine the amount of games you get at once :).

Heh I don't worry and I agree box art can make a difference. Ps4 CoD box is indeed the most eye-catching and cool at the moment. But there's still a chance MS went nuts with Fallout bundle art!
