Now when Kojima isn't with Konami any more and won't be working on the next Metal Gear installment, how will the next game in the series fare? Will it get negative reviews just because Kojima didn't work on it? Will reviewers (and gamers) have a negative bias towards it after Kojima has left the series? Or will it be judged fairly and get high praise if it's good/great?

Konami is probably gonna troll us first with MGS collection for mobile.. after that they'll making Rising 2.. then a new one in 2021 so we'll forgive them for hurting our feelings for so long..

I think gameplay will more or less remain the same and the story is gonna get A LOT simpler.  I don't think reviewers are gonna take points off because a developer left...

Are you sure? The gaming media seem to looove Kojima...

No? Did they get biased when Sakaguchi left FF? When RARE left DK?, ND left Crash? Its not the media thats on Kojimas dick, its the gamers

I like to imagine that the series will be seen in a more favourable light, mainly because I expect the story to be less stuffed and even more of a focus put on gameplay.

I think it will get worse reviews because Kojima is not there anymore to get money from Konami. They will probably make a much cheaper MGS game next time.
