nah. Case is probably around $20 already. And even if 80GB is not a lot, they aren't making them anymore or at least not many of them. It'll cost probably about the same to make/buy as a 500GB HDD.

It just has no use when an $80 windows tablet is stronger and infinately more useful. That is what his is competing with in 2015, not just the worth of its raw components.

The CPU is actually a pretty decent CPU even to today's standards. The new chips have a lot more features, but these older ones actually still perform quite well.
As far as gaming goes, you likely aren't going to be able to do a whole lot since it's likely just using intel graphics.

Its a C2D, without hyperthreading.

Its a dual core, like the Pentium g3258.

But the "instructions pr clock" performance of a C2D is like half of what a haswell is... or something crazy like that.

Basically a C2D @3ghz is like a haswell at 1.5ghz.

A G3258 that you overclocked to 4.5ghz will make a 3ghz C2D look really dated.

Thats 69$ alone for the cpu though.

If only that actually was how performance were. On a benchmark, yeah it might show that, with the upgrades I stated it will perform decently, especially for a computer that cost $99. In real world use, those processors still do well.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

For me it's a waste if you really want to get a taste of pc gaming you should spend a little more, this one will just frustrate you on how slow it is and incapable. I wouldn't be surprised if the windows they ship with it isn't genuine and you soon will get a message from microsoft telling you you need to buy an other version of windows 7. good luck buddy, I recently joined the master race and I really like it. big breasted women give me head on a regular basis while I wait for the bus and some guy gave me a porshe carrera when he found out about my rig.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

My previous PC (2009-2014) had same CPU and DDR2 RAM. With a decent videocard (Geforce 650ti) it could run modern demanding games even on High but with some struggle. For example Tomb Raider ran well on High in most locations but there was noticable frame drops in Shanty Town. But decent videocard (starting from Geforce 750ti or AMD 260?) will cost you another ~100 usd.
