Not really, is first of all an extremely intuitive and fun to use level creator plenty of details and hidden surprises, but it is also a platform to play infinte levels of Mario either from your friends, your favourite youtubers or complete strangers and also a social network where people gives likes (stars) to your creations, leave comments either outside or inside of the levels so everyone can see it while playing, follow each other to see what creations are doing, with worldwide rankings about the best creators and levels, etc, Is a very complete experience that is fun in every aspect of it, the expectations for this game were pretty standart before the NWC and now is considered one of the very best games of the year for more people everyday, so this has indeed gone and done beyond expectations.

You literally just explained most games with level creators except for the debatable intuitive and fun to use part.

come on i know opinion is relative but Bloodborne for example has the chalice dungeons, those are pretty much your mario maker in the souls series and Fromsoftware isnt extra charging you for them like Nintendo is with Mario Maker. Bloodborne is GOTY

Fortunately facts aren't relative. You might want to look some up before you start claiming stuff like this. Outside of the standard amiibo unlockabled there is no other DLC available for the game currently.
