I don´t know if I´m too old or too young for this game. I have no strong nostalgic feeling toward SW, and I realy enjoyed most of the "new" trilogy.

I´m thorned with this dem... I mean, beta. I think I will enjoy it a little next year when it is added to EAA Valt.

IMO they have to fix those problems.

They have to fix the music volume and pacing. It has anything to do with the point the battle is and is quite anoying.

Ranking also seems out of place. I can do nothing of intesting for the first 10 games other than running and gunning.

More features on the maps: they all look like a lunar surfice without any noticible landmarks.

More close quarters encounters. I rearely get face to face with another player. Only long hange combate makes me feel disconected and disengaged from the combate.

thats not the games fault. to many cod player test it out i guess.

Is'nt that in a sense unfair then? 40% chance if you know what to do. If you don't, near zero. I know in the film Empire win and I guess Rebels winning in not in continuity but still... should be 50/50 from the start.

its a bad choice for a demo, but asymetric maps are fine, for experienced players.

 

quick question, does anybody have huge lags at the start of the game on pc? just the first 30s of a match, the game lags like hell.

The beta has been extended and now ends on Oct. 13.

It is really funny but I think everyone should drop the expectation of it being like the older games. This is a more modern, MP centric experience that has a fantastic Star Wars atmosphere. I will most likely pick it up later in December when I've gotten my Halo 5 dosage :).

Really tired of you anti-EA hipsters who hate it just because it's EA.

I find your general complains moot. Who cares about a campaign? I bought BF4 just to play online. I never touched the campaign. These campaigns haven't been up to par anyway since the original MW.

I liked this beta and I'm going to preorder it.

its not more mp centric, they just cheaped out.  nobody is asking for a real campaign, just some missions on the normal mp maps with bots, and galactic conquest. thats like 2 weeks of work for a small team.

and modern? you mean casual, not modern.  UT 2015 alpha beta is modern, made with the community for the community, with a smart and fresh system of generating revenue.

I have gone from excited, to somewhat underwhelmed with this game. Just seems to be another badly balanced FPS where they haven't even got adequate protection from something as basic as spawn killing. hopefully a lot changes before release or I foresee a very short life for this game.

So, id Battlefront going to be worth $60, or as a MP only game should it sell for $40-$50 instead?
