Forums - Movies & TV - How would you "improve" the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy?

I know some of you didn't like Episode I,II and III, possibly most of you here... and outside of this website as well.

I was wondering how salvageable these films could be for you, wondering if there is anything in those films that you think worked but need X thing or should have been rid of Y thing in order to be better film. I would not be surprised if comments show up saying their is nothing to salvage. :P

There are even internet videos with great ideas to what could have been alternate approaches to what George Lucas gave us in those three films.

So I ask you, what would you propose changing, adding, removing, reworking, etc. in order to make the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy enjoyable films?

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

No, it's not. It's a terribly written trilogy.

I love the prequels so I wouldn't change anything about them. People who hate them take kids movies wayyy too seriously

Reduce the cheesy lines a bit maybe. Apart from that the prequels were okay in my book.

How would I fix the prequels? Slowly build up the relationship between Padme and Anakin, as well as Obi Won and Anakin. Not just a we don't know each other to we are best friends/lovers.

Have the personalities of the characters of the prequels slowly evolve to resemble those of them from the older movies. How did Anakin become a leader of the Sith in the older movies when at the end of the prequels he was an emotional wreck and still very impulsive. How did Obi Wan change from a front line soldier to a wise sage? You don't have prequels that end so fractured from the original films. Prequels are supposed to make you feel like you know the whole storybut with Star Wars there still seems like giant chunks of the middle of the story is missing.

*Edit*

Oh, and have the story far more character driven. Having it politic driven was absolutely freaking BORING!!!!

Erase Jar-jar.

Make the movies less of a kiddy movie and make them more mature. Also find a better actor for Anakin and make the plot for twisted. Even the books written before the new movies had better ideas in them.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

How would they improve them? Anything would be an improvement to them, they were absolutely terrible.

I wouldn't have killed Darth Maul. I would have had him escape at the end of episode 1. I wouldn't have made Count Dooku a Sith either. I just can't see him being an "apprentice" to anybody if he was as powerful as they made him out to be. I think he should have just been a separatist Jedi who didn't agree with the republic. Maybe the Jedi order his assassination or something and it doesn't sit well with Anakin or some shit. He learns stuff from Dooku or whatever, but refuses to leave the order because he still believes they are good and he believes in his mentor Obi. Then Obi receives information that Maul has been found, disobeys orders and takes Anakin to pursue him. Anakin gets hurt, Obi kills Maul. Anakin sees that the Jedi order isn't the pure order it was supposed to be yada yada yada. Somewhere in there, him and Padme get it on, his mom dies, fill in the rest.

Remove Jar Jar and recast both Anakins and you've already done great work. And ditch the Yoda using lightsabres bit. That was so silly.
