But he didn't say anything inflammatory and unsubstantiated towards Mexican Immigrants

Lets put you in a group and then lets rephrase a comment. This one is easy, since we're all gamers, so lets say I said:

"I'm sure some gamers are good people, but some of them are murderers and rapists in there too that we need to be worried about that."

You wouldn't find that to be an inflammatory statement? Pretty sure the game community would melt down over that.

Please don't do that.  You're trying to change his wording so that it sounds much nicer and that's duplicitous.

Try something more like, "Gamers are, in many cases, criminals, drug dealers, rapists, etc."  Or, how about, "Gamers are bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”  That would be using Trump's own words.

As for the interview: I thought it was a rather informative interview that showed where Trump stands with certain issues while incorporating funny visuals.  Great job to both Trump and Colbert.

That.... doesn't add up? That is the logical equivalent of me saying:

My employees spend $10,000 at a bar every week. I'm going to make that bar owner pay $2,000 to repair my fence.

There's a bit of a jump. The trade deficit is not with the Governments, it's between the people of the countries. American citizens CHOOSE to buy products made by Mexicans. That's it. That's all a trade deficit is. That money doesn't belong to either Government.
