I posted a thread with three positive previews of this game and yet here we are bumping ONE negative thread about the game. Anyone would think people WANT it to be bad.

? So what? This is a negative preview. Just because you posted three positive ones, we should ignore the negative one? Seriously? People can decide on their own where to post.

Yes, and they decide on negativity even though positivity is the clear overall view so far. The internet is toxic and people just want Assassin's Creed to be bad. I'm not fond of the series anymore myself but I'm not going to rag on Ubisoft and the game jsut because it's 'the in thing to do'. Got something bad to say about Sony? It will be in the hotspot on N4Gs soon. Got anything bad to say about MS? It will be in the hot spot on N4Gs soon? Got a one bad review out of many great reviews? It will be in the hot spot on N4Gs soon. People feed on negativity and then wonder why the internet has become so full of click bait articles.

The PS5 Exists.

Well. I don't buy Ubisoft games out of principle anyway.
They can shove uDontPlay right where the sun don't shine. :P

Only played the first 2 games in the franchise, got every single other game in the series for free via various legal means and I still can't be bothered.
The second game just screamed "milk me" at the time, so I didn't wish to get invested into the franchise, turned out those fears weren't entirely unfounded.

Let's just wait and see how it turns.

No surprise there. Never buy a game at launch nowadays. For example, I haven't touched Dragon Age Inquisition yet. The latest DLC introduced another bunch of problems, as expected. I buy games when they are truly finished and working like they were intended to. Usually get them cheaper at that point, too. AC Unity with the last patch was ok, no problems to mention (Except for a couple of total crashes on my PS4). Early adopting is just plain stupid now, a thing of the past. I understand that not every bug can be caught by the devs, but there's reasonable and then there's ridiculous. Half games are put out for us consumers to playtest.
That said, I will be buying the next AC because I like the franchise, the gameplay and the story even though the main protagonists have been very bland ever since Ezio. I hope the next guy is going to be more appealing.

Ubisoft themselves are to blame here, in my opinion. Yes, there is also unreasonable criticism out there but after Unity, Ubisoft has to convince people that this time they deliver a game which doesn't need many patches to actually work in a way you would expect it.

The same applies to 343i, although they are to blame that they outsourced things in MCC, rather than doing the MCC themselves. They still have the "bad" image and their reputation will also be put to a test when Halo 5 releases.

Well, what did you read then?

“Syndicate, right from the main menu, feels instantly like Unity. On PS4 (the build I played at the event) it has the same issues hitting 30fps, with constant stuttering and a wildly fluctuating frame rate, as well as the same 900p resolution (Ubisoft is yet to confirm the resolution, but it certainly didn't look 1080p). There's demonstrable input lag. It looks great, as long as you're not moving too much. Now, this is a preview build, and the game is still a month away from launch. But there is a sense of history repeating here, as these same issues were present in Unity’s preview builds, just as they were in its eventual release.“

Yes.

Not from PS4 from what I read.

Seriously?

I mean, did you perhaps hear anything else? Because when you read the passage, I don't know how anyone can get confused about it.

Seriously.

From what I read the PS4 version is not like this site is saying lol

So you are referring to other sites? Good. But it'd be better to say it that way because otherwise people would assume you are referring to the only source that is provided in this thread which is to be found in OP whose text I quoted twice.
