Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox One vs PS4: Spencer Hates the Console War

Just sitting here reading this and wondering if he would be saying this if Xbox one was selling double of ps4.

Probably not.

Microsoft was loving last gen trumpeting every npd win, various video comparisons showing ps3 version performing much worse with lower resolution, lowered frames, screen tearing, etc.

Now that Sony's back on top and learned their lesson, "I hate the console war".

Right.

It seems last gen left some serious wounds. Perhaps that explains a lot in discussions.

This guy is on a roll. Wonder if he will feel the same if they're the one on top.

Lol I know right??? We're getting like 4 to 5 quotes a day from this guy lol

You never hear this much chatter from Nintendo or Sony.

THere's nothing wrong with differentiating your product.
Phil doesn't like when Sony "bought" exclusivity, but they were doing it themselves for years. That's how the business works. X360 was the first time MS actively went out and tried to convince devs that multiplat was the future, then they started buying up tons of exclusive content.

What's worse than exclusivity or dlc tied to stores and preorders is multiplat game content tied to a console.
Honestly, just seems like sour grapes.

He wasn't head of Xbox. Nor did he have any say over 3rd parties.

These are all most likely from 1 interview that the media takes each question and make his answer into an article.

Yeah, it's like everyday there's new article about this guy, I know he did a pretty good job from turning around the xb1 but man this guy is on PR rampage lately.

People keep saying he hates the console War because he's losing. Does Sony love the console War because they're winning?

But we have people on a monthly basis saying "Reggie just needs to shut up".  And remember when Kaz was called " Krazy Kaz"?

Everybody gets their turn.

Did you really not understand what he is saying or are you doing this exact thing Spencer is talking about on purpose? Hint: He isn't talking about sales contest between Sony and Microsoft. Ps players really love to spin his words, maybe they should think about it from an another ankle for a while.

No. I'm reading right.

He is just saying things based in the spin needed to the interview... he are doing a lot of odd statements that contradicts himself from few months ago.
There is no other angle to think about.
He started to lie too.

But yeap for some Spencer is the God.

For some it is Shu, for some it is Kaz. Crazy world, isn't it?
