Do people actually go out and buy this stuff? I mean how idiotic is it in a year when this game is outdated and you're stuck with a ps4 of last year's game that nobody gives a shit about? Or even worse.. three years from now when your ps4 is themed (is that a word?) after a game that is in the 99 cent bin? It just blows my mind. Get a regular fucking ps4 and not this ridiculous piece of crap that's just going to look stupid sitting in your house after a couple months. BO3 is only going to be "a thing" for a very very short time. If I went to somebody's house, and I saw this abomination, I would really wonder "is this person that much of a sucker?"

I read an article on Forbes asking the question if the series itself is too big to fail. In the end, they concluded that the series is too big to fail and may even win the holiday war. I do agree that the series has gone stale somewhat and that Black Ops III doesn't do anything radically new (Dota 2 and League of Legends concepts in their form of "Champions" apply in mutiplayer) but I do believe it is going to be a better Call of Duty that many of the fanbase may or may have not seen since Black Ops II; some even argue Modern Warfare.

I'll admit that BO2 seemed to have more legs in terms of interest by the fans, but you know that they do claim this about every call of duty (every year).

While I do agree Rubber-San, I do believe this Call of Duty will be better than most people think. 3 years to develop a game can help; yearly franchises included.

Or people actually enjoy the art style of a themed console and are willing to pay a bit extra for it. This is for self satisfaction, not to show off. I don't give a shit about whether you like my themed console or not, if I like it, then I'll buy it. If you want a plain console, get one and stop bitching about what others want

Go buy your call of duty console then lol. Have a blast with it! You're absolutely right that it is your right/choice to buy anything you want for any reason in the world. But it is also my right to look at it and come to whatever conclusion I do about what kind of person it says you are.

It's like the same kind of angry you feel when you hear about people camping out at stores all night to save literally 50 dollars on a tv. When you hear about people not having the common sense to realize that their time is more precious than saving 50 dollars. In fact, they're not even saving, they're spending. To hear about these kinds of failures in thought processes just gets me wondering why on earth are people so short sighted. It's unbelievable.

The value of one's time is subjective to that individual.  Each person has a different situation.

youre absolutely right, but its nonsensical.

its like watching somebody who is late to school take a route that takes 45 minutes as opposed to the one that takes 10 minutes.

Nonsensical to you, someone who doesn't see a perceived value in waiting for the deal based on your situation.  To the single parent working at BK who has to do whatever it takes to save as much money as possible while also providing a decent holiday to their child it is a way of life.

I like the design. I think this ps4 LE is meant to be on ground than standing up.

if that is your situation, then you certainly shouldnt be purchasing expensive electronics. i mean, seriously. im not trying to impose anything on people, but it goes back to what i said about common sense. if you had enough sense, if you are working at BK trying to support a family, you wouldnt be buying expensive brand new shit that is out of your budget.

anyway, we are getting a little bit off topic here.
