Wow! I have never heard that kind of a complaint before. "Damn, I tried as hard as I could to get to the major leagues! Stupid sport for having people that are better than a rookie like I'self! Forget the pride! Forget the experience! Put me back down to the minor leagues where I can play as I do now, and win against them inferiors!"

This is the less aggravating complain about Nintendo I've ever heard about Nintendo in a bunch of Nintendo-fan years. Since the topic I did for explaining what people disliked about Nintendo to politely exchange opinions was closed because it could have caused flames I simply leave you with a deal with it or get better, we can't really say anything else in this topic :/

this is normal, you have hidden metrics that help the game calculate whos you enemy, and in this case you get some not that good s ranks and very good A ranks. the ranking systems lags behind the hidden metric.

better to chill out sometimes and use your head and practice more. i'm not an S rank and it is really frustrating when losing and dropping rank status.

You haven't seen anything yet.. Once you get to A+, you will almost always be paired up with S ranks. I've gotten a bit tired of ranked myself so I just usually stick with Turf Wars

My biggest complaint in Splatoon (excluding various things like a scoreboard) is when you join a match, they sometimes put you in a group where you have to wait 2mins (like when joining with friends) I'm sure there are plenty of groups that already have a public lobby waiting, but they have to pair you up and make you wait. You can't leave that group either so it's really annoying and more often than not, I disconnect from that lobby so I just wasted 3 minutes :/

After the discovery of a hacker going around corrupting people's save files, I decided to back up my save file. That got me thinking: why not use this back up to restore my rank if I suffer a bad spell of losses?

Do it now not only to guard against hackers but also to restore your rank: copy your Splatoon save over to your USB drive and unplug the USB from your console before loading the game up and going into ranked mode. After having a bad spell of losses, you can delete your file from your console, plug in your USB drive and copy the old file to your console. Your rank will be restored! Be warned though: any money and leveling up you've done as well as purchases and such will be deleted as well. Shouldn't be too much of a problem since losses don't get you much money and don't level you up as much either. Still, use with discretion and be sure that your USB drive is ejected properly. If you have multiple USB drives lying around, feel free to use multiple. You can never be too safe.

The reason a lot of us go wtf when Nintendo does things is pretty much culturally explained. Unlike Sony, Nintendo doesn't really let anyone outside of their inner circle in Japan make decisions. This causes a problem when trying to please western consumers.

At least you ain't paying online.

It actually happens is most games. Whenever I play Rocket League I play against a team with Specialists/Veterans when I'm still at the Professional level. Same happened recently on Rainbow Six beta.
