I know, but the over 9000 part is a translation error. In most languages, and in the original Japanese (which is the only canon version) it's over 8000. I'm basically just messing with him.

That's a load of bull. I might as well call Uncharted fanservice to Indiana Jones fans then.
Pokken Tournament and Genei Ibun Roku #FE look like quite solid games to me. Hopefully Star VFox: Zero can greatly improve now that it's delayed.
If Pikmin 4 is in fact a Wii U game for 2016 then the Wii U has 4-5 solid exclusives.

Someone claims Wii U has a solid line-up, then comparisons with other systems are going to happen. As far as we know so far this is it, but for every comment on Wii U having more that hasn't yet been announced there's an equal or maybe greater likelihood that PS4 is going to get more new titles, Sony seems to be on this trip of re-announcing many games people thought were vaporware, like Ni-Oh, Gravity Rush 2, The Last Guardian, along with games that have been in development for a very long time. I think Microsoft have said they're having another event this year, though considering they didn't announce any more exclusives for XB1 at Gamescom, instead they resorted to showing footage for games already announced and anything new announced was releasing on Windows as well, so no longer exclusive. Technically Pokken isn't an exclusive to Wii U, because it can be played at the arcades, Pikmin 4 isn't a guaranteed 2016 release, even though Star Fox and Zelda were meant to be 2015 games Miyamoto and co felt they weren't all they needed to be, so they got pushed into the next year, we'll see what happens there. Pikmin could be ported to NX we just don't know. Nintendo needs more than a "normal year", they need more than this, a few fresh new IPs along the lines of Splatoon would be a lot better, maybe some thing will be announced in a Holiday 2015 Direct. |
Nah... the Wii U is most definitely not "competing" with the PS4.
Wii U is dead. Long live NX :p
Doesn't look that solid to me. Definitely a weaker lineup than 2014 and 2015.

When I say fan service games, what I meant is that most of those games wont do anything to sell the console outside of the current userbase which makes me believe it has been created primarily to satisfy the current userbase. The quality of those games has never been in question. It doesnt matter how good they are, I wouldnt buy a wii u for those games and even if I had one, woulnt consider them either except zelda u, that game is a must..
Looks like the WiiU's last hoorah to me. Good games to look forward to but I think it'll be the last year of first party support.
I don't think the NX will release in 2017 because several of these games were slated for 2016.
Looks decent but that´s it, unless they still have some big announcements (very unlikely)
This is fine if it's up to summer of next year. The platform will need more to have a good year.

In Japan, but the rest of the world is getting this game in 2016
Also, wasn't that just a demo for Japan or is the release date set?
