Phil is a PR disaster , he also accused SONY buy exclusivity from SE for FF XIV reborn, and before this he also made a statement on how market share is not important on sales. I know he is trying to sell his product, but he need to be classy and elegant, it will just look stupid if he praise SONY but at the same time mock the competitor. I am afraid he get stressed from Xbox One sales performance, and cannot hold the pressure. I hope it wont affecting Xbox One sales in the future.

This isn't below the belt jeezus, lol, some people love to be sooo dramatic, "This is below the belt" kind of talk is selling what Phil said for a lot more than it is worth. Why do this? Why call out someone for doing such a soft thing. Seriously, in business there are WAAAY bigger things going on than some competitor talking about a possible price cut. If this is below the belt then we live in an incredibly good human natured world.

I thought he was asked this question in an interview. I don't think there's any conspiracy there. We all know the drop is coming. He'll react accordingly with a drop for the Xbox One too,  it's the only real strategy he has left. Which is crazy that it'll be nearly half the price it was when it was debuted.

It is a bit dirty, I can agree with that but let be honest, ps4 has been on the market for almost 2 years which means, anyone could be expecting a price drop before the holidays. it's just a matter of waiting or getting the console right away. Don't need anyone to remind me something I thought at one moment it will happen.

He could answer he won't comment on Sony bussiness, like he said before (like when being directly asked on TR exclusivity),

He stealthly confirmed a new price cut for X1, so sub 300 is sure to come.
