Do you expect a PS4 Price Drop in the US this Fall

I'm only expecting a temporary cut during the holidays so the PS4 doesn't get slaughtered in terms of sales during the holidays in the US, with it only being temporary because the PS4 is still steadily outselling the XB1. There's no need to permanently cut price if sales are good and you're the leading console in sales on a monthly basis.
The XB1 outsold the PS4 by 400k during the November NPD and 225k in December, I doubt Sony wants a repeat of that.

Also I'm expecting another $50 cut to $300 this holiday for XB1 and an additional $20 cut to $280 during Black Friday with heavy bundling during the holiday, that strategy worked well for Microsoft as I already said above.

He said hes not worried could that mean another price cut again this year?

It seems that way. The Xbox One gets outsold even when it's at a lower price, so it would be dead in the water at the same price as PS4. They definitely need to keep that price advantage to keep moving units.

Yea i think its that or maybe a fallout bundle or something. But it would be sick to get a price cut for it becuz if it does ill get it. Ill get it anyways without a price cut but with one it will be cheaper os i can save money.

LOL.

The obvious answer is that the Xbox One got $150 cheaper to own than the year before it.  That is a price drop.

I kinda do too. Wouldn't be surprised if it dropped to $299 within a month, but then again if they don't have to nothing may happen.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

LOL Sony made TONS of money losing slightly in ONE region.  Worldwide they dominated, and made SOOOOOOOOO much more money.

If they drop the price it is to dominated marketshare and flat out make more money.  The Xbox One has only proved that Xbox no longer brings enough competition to Playstation.

Not really. You can get an xbox one with kinect for $500 today if you want to. You can get a tb xbox one for $400 and a 500gb xbox one for $350. THe only true price cut it got was from 400-350 since you can still get it for #500 with kinect.

He's trying to make potential PS4 owners wait until the holidays.  Microsoft will then fill the gaming media with ads marketing all the holiday titles for the xbox this fall/winter to steal those potential PS4 owners.

So sneaky!
