if the unified NX console would be a hit in japan, japanese can get the games in handheld form and us west can get it in home console form. win-win.

That's a big if but I agree. Seems like a winning idea. Hard to predict though.

japan is really more into handheld and mostly mobile, as mobile is eating up a big chunk of the market.

They better sell Fox Engine to someone

Sell Suikoden to someone who will use it.

Psh, like they'll sell any of their IP. Selling an IP means less pachinko machines and less crappy cash-in mobile games. We all knew that survey was just to figure out which series to abuse with a terrible mobile game first.

The PS5 Exists.

Well, the only things they've made as of late are Metal Gear and PES... so things won't change much.

At least they went out with a bang!

Buh bye Konami of old. They are ceasing AAA console development on franchises aside from Pro Evolution Soccer. Their tech director has quit as they shift focus to mobile games.

Give your franchises to Nintendo plz, Castlevania and Contra and Metal Gear.

i tip my hat to you sir.

Wonder if they will be using their more famous IP for mobile spin-offs and other crap, or whether they would be open to offers.

There's already a Metal Gear Mobile. And it sucks.

Casual gamers are going to cause the shrink of this gaming community.
