Possibly. Halo 5 is the only thing MS has that can move hardware other then another price cut.

They'll drop the price again and have incredible bundles. Also the holiday exclusive line up is very strong. Much stronger than last year.

Define holiday? In europe we see sales go up already in september/october.

It's got a great exclusive lineup for this year and now they can advertise more stuff such as backwards compatibility with it.

Yes because games:

Halo 5, Star Wars, Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Need for Speed and more (Hitman, Rainbow 6 etc)

Price/Promotion wise, I don't microsoft will do what they did last year but there will still be good deals and promotional price cuts. And please no one run in with Sony and their marketing exclusives, thats not going to stop massive established multiplatform titles from shifting hardware on xbox.

Yes and by a large margin, at least in the US anyway. BC, brand new UI dedicated to making the system function like a core gaming machine, Halo, better marketing.... it's a different beast than it was last year.

Those first two points don't move hardware in any meaningful way.

As for marketing, it is debatable. They have got Fallout and Tomb Raider,  but have lost Cod and Assassin's Creed. You also have to compare it to the competition. Sony only had GTAV last year for the holidays, and that was a remaster of a one yeae old game. This year they have Battlefront,  Cod and Ass Creed. They will take sales from one another based on these partnerships, and MS does not have the third party advantage it had last year.

I think it comes down to what it always looked like coming down to. Halo 5,  and whether or not there is a price cut. 

i think XBOX One can have better sales than last year.
