I'm 110% sure the authorities would have done the same had he not been Muslim. Definitely. No doubt about it.

It was probably a bad idea for him to pack his clock so close to his tinfoil wrapped hot dogs for lunch!

Odd tho if that was the full story without anything else but I guess when it comes to safety of students in schools then any bit of discomfort at times is better than children being put in danger. (imo anyway, I hope the Muslim kid wasn't seriously upset by this.)

Oh for fucks sake. When an adult "american" brings a gun to school nothing happens to him until it's too late. But better be careful about that young muslim kid.

I´m having a hard time trying to imagine a clock that could be confused by a bomb to be honest.

Hmm may just have to buy a few of these for reasons.

But that´s trying to look like a bomb, I doubt a 14 years old kid has done something like that, probably is just a big clock and a lot of paranoia.

But suspended for 3 days? Fuck that.

It could be a case of racial profiling or simply concerned for safety and security. Kinda feel bad for the kid caught in the middle of all this.
