What generalizations?  He is saying if the games at TGS were not for you then you should get an XBO.  That's ridiculous imo.

And you're saying as if PS4 exclusives are all anime based games. That's even more ridiculous.

All I said was the XBO has a greater range in genres for AAA exclusives.  Something he bashed the XBO for was not having different genres and only having gears, halo, and forza.  That is pure hate and nothing but ignorant trolling.  I did what he did to prove a point by saying all the PS4 has is anime games.   To show him how ridiculous it sounds.  Do you get it yet? Jesus...its not hard.

Lol that's just as much bullshit. PS4 has exclusive action games, sandbox games, racing games, fighting games, JRPG's, hack n slash, FPS and TPS. So no, XB1 doesn't have a greater range in AAA exclusives, it infact has a smaller range.

I give it an 9/10. Mostly because of KH 2.8. lol

7/10

It was good but the lack of bigger games like Final Fantasy and The Last Guardian, plus big surprises, was kinda of a let down.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

That's pretty debatable. And what's AAA is also a pretty debatable topic on these forums. Not to mention the term exclusive, if you count console exclusive, platform exclusive, etc. or not.
But there's no doubt that PS4's lineup of games and upcoming games in general speaks to a lot more different people than XBO's does. That is a major reason for why it sells so much better than XBO outside of USA, and that's always been PlayStation's main streangth. The diversity of its library. Missing so many Japanese games is a big loss for any console. Because Japanese games are not just one genre, or anime games.

well since the only fanboy wars people care about are console, I just consider it the games the two consoles do not share.  AAA is a well defined title for a game. Budget, advertising, expectations, etc.

But as of right now the XBO AAA games cover more genres than PS4.  Not saying by much, but its true.  But none of this was the point I was making.  A Sony fan said something ridiculous, I called him out, his Sony friends on this forum bash me for something else off topic because even though his point was ridiculous, they thought it was funny and true.  Sad.  Thank God I game on PC.

This was a good conference to cement the PS4 as the leading platform.

Just like I said in the past, I think they are going to hold off on their AAA announcements for Paris/Sony week for the additional holiday boost. Still a lot of surprises were announced.

7/10 for me.

if you ignore math...why not.

I gave this conference a 7.5/10. Very solid in my opinion. I certainly didn't expect to see games that were already announced in other conferences...so it shouldn't be a negative factor in a rating. Newer games is what people were expecting and it the show did that. Pleased indeed.

3/10. I'll give it 2 extra points just for star ocean to make the show 5/10.

PlayStation 4 9.5/10
-PlayStation VR is perfect to the point, and easily marketable.
-Price cut is a great, consufing and unexpected, but great.
-The shear number of games coming to PS4 in 2016 should really help them build a huge userbase.
-PS4 is setting course to surpass the PS3 with ease.

PlayStation Vita and Vita TV 0/10
-Sony comletely ignored the device.
-3rd parties are doing a better job at cross platform development even on larger projects.
-Sony's focus on Xperia, and abandonment of PS Vita is a hamper on the PS4's ability to suceed.

Overall 4/10

Sony is doing a great job with PS4. PS4 is easily the best Sony product on the market today. It runs on an actual Sony OS, it is built around Sony's own network and ecosystem. However, the disfunction at Sony continues, and is the only thing holding PS4 back from being an industry leading device. The decision to abandon Vita, and push the Me Too Xperia brand is dragging down PS4. These fake products with the Sony name tag need to end, and Sony needs to focus on building its brand, and set itself up for the future.

Japan is the home of mobile devices, and Sony and PlayStation a already huge in the contry. They should be pushing PlayStation as the ultimate smart device, and getting tons of support from Japanese app developers. TGS 2015 should have been the birth of PlayStation Vita as Japans number 1 smartphone, but instead the battle between Sony divisions continues to rage. So what should have been a great day for the company, is once again hampered by their inability to have a sigular vision.

7/10 to me. Some interesting games, some bleh games and no Persona 5 (ye I know it has its own show on the 19th but still I wanted some mention of the game at least).

I'm most excited for the new Hot Shots Golf, finally coming out next year.
