Forums - Politics Discussion - Brazil is imploding, soon it will be a Argentina.

I live here, and everyday things gets worse, prices of everything are rising indecently, if you are paid more than the minimum wage, you almost don`t get inflationary readjustments. Small and medium business are closing everywhere, the big business are firing everyday, unemployemnt is sky-rocketing, the spheres of government ( municipalities, states, federal district and Union) aren`t making any selections to hire new employees and are cutting benefits of the ones that are already there.

Really, this country is turning to be inviable to live in long-term, soon I get my Bachelor Degree i`m  planning in learning German and starting my education all over again there, at least I`ll be paid in Euros and live in a country with some descent indicators, even if the first few years won`t be heaven, it is better to do housework or washing toilets there than being a lawyer here, I`m gonna to make more money, no joking.

It is, you know we have the reputation to be happy in any situation, well, I disagree, I think people here are just in a suspension of reality. Many things that would be considered shocking in other countries here is just normal. Urban violence is sky-rocketing, I was robbed twice this year, the police only say " well, it`s normal, be thankful to be alive", I mean, What da fuck? And there are many things more that i can`t stand anymore, South America is a madhouse, Brazil is a madhouse, we are so fucked up and most people only think about meeting friends in weekend and don`t take nothing seriously. All social rules are relative, and everybody is trying to get advantage all the time somehow...

I want to go to Germany because it seems to be the opposite of the brazillian way.

I live here and...

It is fine... we always had resection times and it is not the worst one since I born (1982). It is way far from it.

Outsides countries had worst times.

That is what I can't understand with some people here... maybe they just get spoiled and I don't even like the actual government lol.

Prices in Argentina are ridiculous especially in technology. That's what you get with an incompetent president.. things are getting worse in my country too, sad to live in South America really.

Brasil situation is not really THAT bad.

While there is a economic crisis, the real problem is the political crisis. Brasil could recover from this economy problem soon, if only the politicians stopped getting in the way.

Unfortunately that won´t happen anytime soon, and the population is not helping either.

I wonder if Nintendo thought about this before dropping distribution here.

Things are not that expensive here anymore.

Everybody I meet says they are in a bad time but nobody stopped to drink a lot of beer and makes/go parties yet.

The situation is not THAT bad.

BTW. The situation is way better than Argentina crysis or some EU counties for example...

That's because demand exist and will always increase no matter how expensive things are.

I don't know about Brasil but here not only things are getting way more expensive fast, but salaries stay the same or even lower.. so yeah

No. If you don't have money then you have others piorities.

I lived ways worst crisis here where people didn't have money neither to put fuel on cars... drink a beer? lol... go on parties? impossible.

Yeap... it is not the ideal scenario today but it is fine for people live here... you can buy or do everything you want doing plans wiht your money like in a "non-crysis" country.

The crysis here is overated... people just got spolied because a good period without crysis lol
