Finally get to introduce myself properly.
Hi everyone. I've mainly been on IGN but I have hovered over this site for about a year, more frequently in the last couple months. Never really cared about sales, but people in the hot topic forums seemed like better journalists than most in terms of actually getting information. Over time, I would look actually look at the comments in forums and felt drawn to the conversations. Couldn't recall any honestly and the usernames would escape my memory, but in many ways it felt like a better platform for immediate and consistent discussion as opposed to IGN and other websites. I eventually decided to come here, hoping for the best and expecting the worst in terms of communication. Both have surpassed my expectations. So I really look forward with grim and glee of the threads ahead.
I feel strongly about a lot of topics, but I primarily want to talk about games. So more than likely you will not see me in any politics thread or anything like that, unless I see someone saying something that is factually wrong and no one calls them out for it. I might make my own threads about these things, but largely to make my opinion clear without the possible barriers of another thread.
In my time in sites like IGN, specifically with IGN, I have called a lot of people idiots, morons, brain dead, and everything under the sun that expresses that their intelligence is less than average, especially when they try to blatantly lie and things along that nature. I will more than likely continue to actively do that, but not on this site. I want to just actively concentrate on topics of actual discussion and fun. It just seems like there is actual potential for that to happen here rather than other places. That's genuinely what I would like to do.
That being said, you may notice that I have not set up the games I have played, the the ones I plan to, or my ID's for my systems. I don't plan to. There is several reasons but my primary ones are that I'm currently at a time that I've earned myself very comfortable living conditions, but chose to act activities and work that feels otherwise, so the times I'm at my systems are just very random in frequency and length. I share my systems a lot. However, it's mainly because I have privacy issues when it comes to being online. I'm simply not comfortable doing so. This also includes my personal information (Age, sex may or may not be accurate and I have no desire to release more info) I'd rather explain that in another thread, and maybe over time this may change. I'm not saying this to be cold or anything, but I just want to make that clear.
I own a Wii U, a Steam account, and a PS4. My Steam account is anemic. I just would largely hang with a friend and buy games on his account and play them with him. Long story there. On that note, I am a Nintendo fan and am geared toward Nintendo based products and information. I have no key bias against other platforms and not because of my preference. You can call me or imply I'm a fanboy. I don't care. Just make sure when you painting that picture of me, you're not finger painting. I'm a grammar bug, but ever since, I've been here. I've been making mistakes six ways to Sunday. Its very embarrassing. I don't mind if you call me out on it.
Threads I want to create are threads that heavily regard my opinion of things that I will attempt to extensively look into as well as community like threads that can't really incite huge conflicts, even if they naturally seem to be able, like the thread about switching IP's and devs. That was a really cool thread.
Smash is my jam. I want Shantae in it ever since RR. I also want WayFoward to make a 3D platformer but that's neither here nor there. My new sig will reflect the hype.
I also like anime, but haven't watched much in recent years. One Piece is a life-long treasure. Jojo and Parasyte and FMAB were phenomincal. Gurren Lagann greatest of all time. Currently watching One-Punch Man.
