Top 3 includes Catwoman, Green Lantern, and Daredevil in no particular order.

Top reasons why I think they are the worst:
- boring
- uneventful
- uninspired (characters and/or plot)
- forgettable (although I guess they're sorta kinda not...since I still remember they existed, and how boring they were)

And no, I don't care for the source material. I take these movies as their own thing. I do notice (and point out) differences, but they're never a factor when I judge good or bad superhero movies.

I hate stuff that sticks TOO close to the source material when adapting to a film. It's also why I don't like the animated version of Dark Knight Returns. They need to update stuff from the 80s to fit modern times and adapt certain story elements to fit the medium of film. For some reason with comics, novels, and graphic novels people always seem to get mad if anything changes. They are adaptations not copies and when they copy it just shows lack of originality and laziness clothed in "respecting the source material"

Real talk? I would have HATED the version of Watchmen you would have liked. If it took place in the modern day and was full of corny superhero fluff, I would have wished it into a fire.

small changes could have made the movie better

jonathan kent should have taught clark more about right and wrong though

giving his dad the same heart attack death , have clark lament that all his power didnt make a difference and he'd been using them for the wrong things

zod and the kryptonians should have brought the fight to smallville not clark

emphasized clark doing damage control and saving people

in the bar, the girl should have warned him that the dude was like some dangerous dealer

more smiling and joking supes , and charm

honestly cap in winter soldier feels more like super man than mos supes, they're kinda similar dudes

Ahhh, David S. Goyer has done such amazing work and I remember seeing his name attached to Man of Steel (along with Christopher Nolan) and thinking that there is no way this movie could be bad. Having said that, Goyer has made some pretty bad scripts in the past as well but after The Dark Knight trilogy I got my hopes up for this film.

For me personally Spiderman 3. But that has to do with expectations i guess. Besides i have never watched Catwoman nor will i likely ever watch the new Fantastic 4.
